### What does "slow down in order" means exactly?

First of all, new to the forum, and hello everyone!
So what confuses me lately is "slow down in order". I'm not sure what it means:
a. The number of orders of a company will fall instead of increasing. The total number of orders that the company has will shrink.
b. The number of orders will continue to rise but at a slower speed.
Which one of these 2 options is the real meaning of "slowdown in order"?

Do you mean “a slowdown in orders”? (Plural, with s)
