I am living in heaven
you're living in hell
I choose the right path
you take the left one
It is a jig-jag
not a straight line
if your way is the best
keep being on that way
if your way is bad
turn right and go with me
I am always here
on the right path
Let's choose the best for all your life
I don't mind
if you bear in your mind
the best is the left

Political connotations??? Well,I really did not think of it when making this poem but maybe DixieDixie wrote:
Excellent! Although it could be interpreted as having political connotations, right?
I tell you a story. There is a boy and a girl. They live near each other but one always turns left while the other always turns right. They never see each other. That story was made up to be a nice film. I took the inspiration from that.

Well, the things is I like to analyse things, try to find hidden meanings, symbolism... So when I read that the characters were one on the right and the other on the left I thought: "Aha! politics!" :D
I understood your point, it's just that poems can be interpreteded in different ways depending on the reader... ;)

it is a film's name--<turn left,turn right>,also is a song's topic.is that so?
the poem is very nice, make me meditate.maybe has some connotation on politics.
Vietnam is always like a dream .I met a lady before ,who made me think of this country,I don't know why.Maybe because of the movie<Lover>,whose novel writtern by French writer Magrat Dulas, and photograghed in Vietnam.
