To whom it may concern:

I wish you well, and do dare say
Catalonia is the only valley
I'm thinking of ever a night an ever a day

I'm glad you came my way
And I'm glad to be right here/there today

But...
What would you say
if I told you
that I went a searching
so free, yet so alone.
In this:
pleasant and friendly greeting and reception
upon us all:

“Welcome . . . , a special area for English Club. com members, away from the hustle and bustle of the outside of the world! Inside the Clubhouse you'll find . . .”
-JOSEF ESSBERGER

Inside the Clubhouse I find:
I find Mi lov maravilla ely señorita

I could have sworn, I’m quite sure
I find myself searching for Catalunya
That’s where I have been there before,
And where I want to return; to be there once more
to explore Sant Carles de la Rapita for sure,
I’ll never be alone
never more, who dare,
‘cause I’ve good old friends over there
in Barcelona and in Tarragona
I’ll never be alone.
I find myself leaping up and down
though I am not child but a man
so happy, with excitement
and in a way I cannot understand.
Though I am not a woman,
but I am a young gentleman
I feel as if I'm going to give birth
I could not sleep
I feel the pain I sit with my head
in my hands and with joy I weep.

Though I am not a woman,
but I am a young gentleman
I find myself pregnant with poetry,
writing verse left and right
giving birth to the ideas that
spring out of my pen
I find myself toying with the idea
of writing a number of things,
searching for a challenge
at which one may wins.
I feel the pain
giving birth to the ideas that
bursting to life in my brain
attempting to create my own
style of what I called 'poetry'
so simple, yet also very much alive,
as my days in Spain,
so happy, though I set at dawn.

Finally I wrote a poem I called Mi Señorita

Mi Señorita

There is so much belleza
Hidden in my señorita;
An EFL Maestra;
I know from Catalunya
Has pasado mi corazón away
..............
..........
......
It's concerned with my days in Spain. Because my days in Spain have come and gone,
but in my memory buried deep...But…
But who cares? Who will show his concern? Who will take care of me?
I am considering going to Spain for my holiday.
Don't worry.
There is no cause for concern.

A language does have its limits,
but the verse
that can be created from it is
only as limited as are the abilities
of the one who writes.

WHO ARE YOU?

Post by Ali Yousef » Tue Feb 01, 2005 1:10 pm

I am a TFL
I am a farmer
I am now an artist, and I plow and plant and sweat and toil, and labor in fields of thought day by day.
Do you accept me as one of your friends?

To be honest,
I play the guitar:
an acoustic guitar
an electric guitar
I also play the Lute

Thank you
But...
WHO ARE YOU, too?

NO WORDS

I've walked alone when I was in Spain
and felt the sun, and talked to birds.
I've lokked at life, and felt the pain;
for what I've found there are no words.

that can be created from it is
