I wrote this today.
Vindicated People.
The half – ruined city stood alone
Watching from the darkness,
In a dream of death and agony of waiting.
There was no light, no sun.
Only stars and ~ heavens.
Ambition turned upside down and a
Desire of highest glory
Were fighting there
A few days ago.
They thought they were strong enough
To battle and overcome,
They’ve lost themselves in the selfish games
Of power and fear,
Trying to be so perfect and generous.
The dynasties was growing and dying,
They were building a bridge
For the new period,
Trusting to the charming gardeners that
Made their souls blossom in horror of fire
And plead for salvation.
They destroyed the city obeying the orders of heartless kings
and couldn’t save the best they made.
A bridge was now lost and lost forever,
People of the new period still repeat their mistakes,
Building and destroying the life.
And that empty half – ruined city is like a memorial
Still stands on that place where heavens are dark and dull as night.
