All the world is a stage

ALL THE WORLD IS A STAGE

All the world's a stage,
And all the men and women merely players;
They have their exits and their entrances,
And one man in his time plays many parts,
His acts being seven ages. At first, the infant,
Mewling and puking in the nurse's arms.
Then the whining schoolboy, with his satchel
And shining morning face, creeping like snail
Unwillingly to school. And then the lover,
Sighing like furnace, with a woeful ballad
Made to his mistress' eyebrow. Then a soldier,
Full of strange oaths and bearded like the pard,
Jealous in honor, sudden and quick in quarrel,
Seeking the bubble reputation
Even in the cannon's mouth. And then the justice,
In fair round belly with good capon lined,
With eyes severe and beard of formal cut,
Full of wise saws and modern instances;
And so he plays his part. The sixth age shifts
Into the lean and slippered pantaloon,
With spectacles on nose and pouch on side;
His youthful hose, well saved, a world too wide
For his shrunk shank, and his big manly voice,
Turning again toward childish treble, pipes
And whistles in his sound. Last scene of all,
That ends this strange eventful history,
Is second childishness and mere oblivion,
Sans teeth, sans eyes, sans taste, sans everything.

when we were small we did have little fights with our siblings and some friends and of course we could quickly patched things up. But, now at this stage in my life or maybe your life too, it is sad to have realized that some things have not really changed much even if we have improved ourselves, we know that we are not in control of other people's feelings this is why, we still see troubles and problems everywhere.

I am sure you are joking and you very well know that it is the phrase that begins a monologue from William Shakespeare's AS YOU LIKE IT.

I like interpreting this poem in another way: we all recite in this world and we change character according to the situation. Rarely we can be ourself.

Dear Shake,
You couldn't find the best moment for asking me this question. I enjoy the best of my country.
I spent a long, long weekend at the seaside.
Good Italian food, wine, soft as milk, sun and sea.
In two words, a paradise:).
Italy is the best place of the world where spending our holidays. In few hours you can pass from the mountains to a lake or to the sea.
There's only a thing I hated in these day: jellyfish!
Don't ask me to write about politics or economy, I am not on the right mood. Maybe in another moment.
Wish you all the best:)

Italy is beautiful in every season and in every season you can go to swim or to ski.
In the North, weather is cold in winter. In summer it is warm, especially in the mountains where it's rarely hot.
In the south people grow oranges and you can swim all year long. Thanks to its climate in Italy you can always find many varieties of fresh vegetables and fruits.
Culture and monuments make you breath the history of this wonderful country.
Ciao.

I wrote just a Rhyme to laugh!

I know you are a teacher of rhymes.
Maybe my poor poem can give you the start for the best and famous poem of your life {-:

Shakespeare or Neruda will be nobody in comparison with you ;-)

JUST A RHYME

“Are you a friend of mine?”
I ask to a crocodile

“When you are on my frontline
Must I run for a mile?

Laughing or crying is the same to you
And the true is a point of view!

Are you a friend of mine?
Tell me dear crocodile”

hi ...i think u start good rhyme and i made some modifications..i hope u don't mind...but i think u have ability to write poems if u try it hard....thnx 4 every thing...best wishes....plz read my modifications:

“When you are on my frontline
i imagine you'll be mine
so i run, to get you,for a mile
and my lips will just show a smile
-------
Laughing or crying for me, is the same
every thing in this world is mere fame
without meanings, so what is the name?
your love turned me lame
-----
are you a lover, love to me, send?
or an enemy or a loyal friend?
or a bad omen came from the hell
or a soft balm will make me well?
--------
are you a deer or a crocodile?
can i trust your tears for a while??
we all will be kicked outside
so tell me please the truth don't hide
----......

Thanks for your modifications. You are great {-:
I’ve tried to go on. I know I have to practice a lot, anyway it is really funny.
It’s very useful to learn and remember new words, too.
Best wishes, thanks to read it.

"Loyal friend you can me call
but don’t hang me on the wall

in your mind you can me find
and a smile always remind

In the mountains I run and stay
But I dream to fly to the UK

Writing poems for you my dear
is not easy without a beer

Feel you free to love or hate
every person near your gate

If someone will kick us outside
under a cushion we will hide

This stupid poem I am stopping now
Have a good day and a sweet CIAO!

This is for a friend who has a strange opinion of European people.

Every human we can say
Find obstacles on his way
Strong and positive we stay
bad thoughts we blew away

Working hard and correct behave
Now we are in a safety cave

Our feelings are precious things
they are not for bad kings.

English language and conversation
That’s the why of participation

If it is not the same for you
I will try with the voodoo
