help! how use films in clasroom?

When I have taught using visual aids, I have found it useful to pause the film or video from time to time and ask my students questions about what they have just seen (and heard). Although these were not language classes, it would appear that the same approach would be useful in almost any setting. By asking frequent questions, student interest is maintained and anything that is unclear can be resolved before proceeding with the rest of the film. Also, everyone loves popcorn and films...
