If you deny something you refute it. Example: You are accused of stealing an jewels from a shop but you deny it. "I did not steal the jewels, I deny the charge that I did so"
Reject, this is where you refuse to accept something generally because it is inferior.

Deny: To refuse to believe;
Reject:To refuse to accept, submit to, believe, or make use of.
( do consider the same EX)
