noun and verb

Post by kohyoongliat »

Dear Teacher

I asked the following questions and I noticed the word 'moved' against the topic under my name. What does it mean?

1. Is there a name for a baby squirrel?

2. A horse neighs. What is the word to describe the sounds made by a giraffe?

Thank you in advance.

Hi there

In general, animal babies are referred to as "young", "youngling", "younglet" or "offspring".
A little squirrel would be called pup, kit or kitten. (not very sure)
But the sound made by a giraffe is bleat or grunt.
Hope it helps.
