In 1829 he became a free-lance reporter at Doctor's Commons Courts, and in 1830 he met and fell in love with Maria Beadnell, the daughter of a banker. By 1832 he had become a very successful shorthand reporter of Parliamentary debates in the House of Commons, and began work as a reporter for a newspaper.
this is about charles dichens i dont know what are"doctors commons courts and house of commons

The house of commons is part of a government like "senate". Don't know what doctors commons are.

I found these information from wikipedia :

Doctors' Commons, also called the College of Civilians, was a society of lawyers practising civil law in London. Like the Inns of Court of the common lawyers, the society had buildings with rooms where its members lived and worked and a big library. Court proceedings of the civil law courts were also held in Doctors' Commons.

The House of Commons is the elected lower house of the bicameral parliament in the United Kingdom and Canada.
