As I see, if you could write this sentence then you have some skill in English:). If you're a Russian, then my advice to you is stop thinking in Russian, it's the main difficulty.

To begin with ( if you are a beginner or perhaps you ask for a friend) you can go to your library and see if they have the Pimsleur: English for Russians CD's available. Take them home and copy them. ( I never said that!) Most schools suck because their curriculum is so slow.

You have to know the parts of a sentence first. Read books to familiarize its functions. And don't forget to use a dictionary.
