think for /think about

Post by Awence »

i m seeking a claification on these.

1. She only Thinks about herself.
2. She only thinks for herself.

May i know whether both of these are correct? And if yes, what are the differences?

My heartfelt thanks.

'She only thinks about herself' means she is selfish, just cares about herself.

'She only thinks for herself' means she makes her own decisions and opinions without depending on other people.
