Present/Present Progressive

I was advanced, now I am behind. I am so sad. I need to know clues for using the correct tense. I am making many mistakes and my grade is lower and lower.


Choose the best sentence below:

1) Look! He leaves the house!
2) Look! He is leaving the house!

I do not understand fully why #2 is better than #1 but there is no option to say both are correct.

Is #2 simply more correct than number #1?
If that is true, can you explain the reason?

Every question on this homework is wrong. I am failing now I think.

Someone explain...maybe explain in Greek?
