Hello members of the forum
I've heard a word in an American serie but I didn't know how it is spelled or what does it mean
I think it's pronounced "carefue" it's about teens going at night or something like that...
The actor talks about his teenager daughter who passed the "carefue"
Please help me

You probably heard: curfew

A curfew is a regulation imposed by a government or an army that tells people to stay at home, usually at night. In very strict circumstances, anybody going outside on the street during a curfew may be shot dead by the army, for example.

Well may be because the serie is comedy type, the father of the teenager girl has used this "army" word :D to frighten his daughter
