Could you please explain what 'a fast learner' and 'a quick learner mean?

I think a fast learner is someone who can learn something new in a relative faster way than most people while a quick learner is faster than a fast learner. A quick learner could be called an instant learner that often happen for a very smart people.

Critmov is right in defining a "fast learner" as:

But I don't see any difference with a "quick learner", except that we normally use the term "fast learner" and not "quick learner" (IMHO). But it doesn't really matter. They both mean the same.
