I'm reading a book and there's one sentence I don't understand.
can anyone help me to explain the sentence? thanks a lot.
the sentence is:
" reeling from one of the sharpest minds I have ever encountered in any field of human endeavour"
it's from the paragraph below:
"Even before I met her, I knew Dolly Parton would completely confound the stereotype of the dumb blonde, and it is true to say that anyone suffering from that pre-story delusion would soon be reeling from one of the sharpest minds I have ever encountered in any field of human endeavour. However, of all those who changed their pre-story, one woman in particular stands out."
