it will tip it

Post by DavidDe »

Good day,

Help to find out the meaning of word "tip" in the following sentence. I couldn't find much about it in my dictionary collection.

"You put your biggest thing at the end because it will tip it.", narrator said.
- Steve Jobs - One Last Thing (2011) Movie

I would have to have more context to be sure but my immediate understanding of "it will tip it" here is "it will change the balance in your favour" (and you will get the decision that you want).
