Should I use "say" or "made"?

Post by tamguatlay »

I have made/said a prayer to the Goddess of Mercy for her speedy recovery.

Should I use "made" or "said"?

Thanks.

I think both "say a prayer" and "make a prayer" are correct.

Prayer may be just as words that We used to say ( Oh , God please dive my friend good healthy & prosperity ) so in this case you could use ( Say ), but If the prayer includes movement in your body's parts , as muslim does, then you are doing the prayer . in such case it would be better to use the word ( Do )
