This is my first message in this forum. I have been learning English for 3 months and my English is not very strong. So help me to choose the correct answer for this test. In my opinion, both of the answers are true.

Lake Ontario is the smallest and the most eastern of the five Great Lakes. Although the lake is navigable for large ships all year round, it is less traveled than the other Great Lakes. The lake is about one hundred ninety –three miles wide and covers an area of seven thousand five hundred square miles.
Complete the sentence according to the text.
Lake Ontario…
a) has less traffic than other Great Lakes
b) is heavily traveled

The text says that LO is "less traveled than the other Great Lakes". It doesn't say it is "heavily traveled".

The answer "a" is correct. heavily traveled means "more traveled", not "less traveled."
