Hotel room

Post by Sammyy »

Hello everyone!
Could someone help me on how to go to a hotel and ask for a room? What is the proper and polite way to ask for getting a room?
Thank

Something like this: "Hello, do you have a room available, please?"

Best wishes,

I would like to book a room.
I would like a room for one/two people.
I would like to book a single/double room.
Do you have a room available?
How much does the room cost?
Could you tell me the cost of single/double room?
Could you tell me how much the room costs?
Is there room service?
Is there a mini-bar in the room?

You can always use ‘please’ but the phrases ‘I would like’ ‘could you’, ‘do you’ are polite enough.
