diff "the below" and "below"

diff "the below" and "below"

Hi,
I would like to understand the difference between the below and below. Have any idea?

E.g Please find the below information
or Please find below information
Which one is correct?

Hi Surehs!

This is a difficult one!

The first one is the most correct. However, you may see the second one in some places - it is the short form.
Many forms will use phrases like this which are actually not complete sentences.

You may also see "Please see the information below." This is the most correct!

2) Please see the information below.

I wonder if,
in 1), "the below" could be an adjective, and in 2), "below" could be a preposition.

Please someone either confirm or deny this.

I can agree for 2), but need more explanation for 1).
Reasons
a) I've never run across an adverb compressing "the" in it.
b) Also, adverbs modify either other adverbs, or adjectives or verbs, but do not modify nouns. It seems to me "the bellow" modifies "information" which is a noun.

words that express manner, time, place or degree are adverbs.

below as a preposition means at a lower level than...
Examples:
  • My skirt is below my knee.
    The extra floor below the first floor and above the ground floor is the mezzanine.
