sometimes

Post by hanuman_2000 »

Hello,

1. He is sometimes foolish. (rewrite in the negative form without change in meaning)

A. He is not always foolish.

Is #A correct?

Thanks.

Hi hanuman,
I would say that #A is fine. It would certainly sound very odd to say 'He is not sometimes foolish.'
Hope this helps, Sue.
