Hi,
somebody proofreaded following sentence: The total price of all these products would normally cost $3,718.94

Is this correct English?
"Total price" and "cost" together?

You are right to query this. Strictly speaking it's not correct.

The total price of all these products would normally cost $3,718.94. :nok: :evil:

A price does not "cost" something. A price "is" something.

You could say:

The total price of all these products would normally be $3,718.94. :ok: :mrgreen:
All these products would normally cost $3,718.94 in total. :ok: :mrgreen:
