My question today is : what is the meaning of ( now you look the part ) .. It was said about a dress that fit perfectly a woman's body in a film.....what would it be like to say it in another words ..

"To look the part" means that a person's appearance or style of clothes is suitable for the role they are in.
For example, if a child was performing in a school play about pirates, and wore a patch over the eye and a scarf around the head, they would "look the part".
