"His talent is not restricted to math, but can also be evident in his soft skills."

Is this sentence grammatically correct?

It is not grammatically "incorrect" but might be more idiomatic as:

His talent is not restricted to math but is also evident in his soft skills.
"We are not wholly bad or good, who live our lives under Milk Wood :-| " — Dylan Thomas, Under Milk Wood
