Hi Aldahmashy:

The word 'cause' identifies what makes something happen, as in cause and effect.
e.g. "What was the cause of the accident?
Answer: "The driver went through a red light."

The word 'reason' answers the question WHY?
e.g. "Why did the accident happen?"
Answer: "Because (the reason was) the driver went through a red light.
