1. Warts are commonly seen on the limbs and heads of dogs. :ok:
2. Warts are commonly seen on the limbs and head of dogs. :nok:

Imagine if warts did not affect the leg. It would be strange to say:

Warts are commonly seen on the head of dogs. :?: :?: :?: :nok:

Hello,
It is not a question of where it is affecting. It is about head or heads

Yes, and I gave you the answer: heads

But if you remove the legs from the sentence it makes it easier to see whether it should be head or heads.

#2 is correct.
because we are saying the dogs' heads
there are more than one dog's head.
we are saying most of the dogs who have warts.
do you understand? probably i cant explain well. XD
