has been repairing/ was repairing/ is repairing

Post by Frieda »

Hello, I am having some difficulties with this sentence and the right tense.
Is it correct to answer this question like this:

" Your phones was busy all day yesterday. Was there something wrong with is?
"Yes, a telecom engineer has been repairing it"
or should the answer be like that: Yes, a telcom engineer was repairing it.

thank you in advance

But there is a problem with your questionner:
"Your phones was busy all day yesterday. Was there something wrong with is? :nok:
