Post by Frieda »

Which one is the correct answer :
I am also out of pocket. I only just go through (I only just come round or I only get by).

"get by"

to get by means to survive but it is not easy. "I only earn $x a month, it's not much but I get by."

"out of pocket"

to be out of pocket means to have less money than expected. Often from having lost money somehow. "I'm out of pocket this month after I found out my work deducted $x from my pay cheque"
