Pronouns for the word the bible

Post by Ryoichi »

If you are in a conversation like this, what would you say for the bible(from the second one)?
Which would you choose, it, one or that?

A: I was given the bible by my mother.
B: Oh, I was given the bible by my father.
C: I was given the bible by my mother.
D: I was given the bible in the church.

Could be one or it. For example:

A: I was given the bible by my mother.
B: Oh, I was given one by my father.
C: I was given one by my mother.
D: I was given it in the church.
