Post by yooyoo »

Hi, Can someone tell me what this sentence means: 'He and I are such a suitable pair to divide the desolation between us.'

Many Thanks.

I detect a large dose of irony or even sarcasm in this quote from Wuthering Heights.
"We are not wholly bad or good, who live our lives under Milk Wood :-| " — Dylan Thomas, Under Milk Wood
