common and proper nouns.

Post by karthikclub »

The word ‘Hindus’ is a proper noun because it refers to followers of a particular religion. The word religion is a common noun, but Hinduism, Islam, Christianity etc are all proper nouns.

Similarly there are many types of vehicles were there, car is one of them, then why can't we name car as an proper noun?
