Information - uncountable noun, no plural

Research - uncountable noun, no plural

Data - strictly speaking data is already plural (the data were collected and classified); but in non-scientific use, it is treated today as an uncountable (singular) noun (there is not much data available)

Staff - can be singular (his staff of 100 people) or plural (the school staff were angry at the decision)

Totally agree with Joe.

I just want to add that data is plural, while datum is singular.
