In which ways IS/ARE

Post by emelien » Mon Apr 27, 2020 7:50 pm

Which is correct? "In which ways are the world in..." or "in which ways are the world in..."? I know that you use is when the noun is singular and are when the noun is plural, but in this case I don't know if the verb refers to the world (singular) or ways (plural). How do I determine?

Almost certainly the correct version is:

In which ways IS the world in... :ok:

but because you haven't given the full sentence, and even your two half sentences have different initial capitalisation, it's hard to be conclusive.
