Grammar question

Post by Lady Storm »

Hi everyone!

I have a question about a sentence and I hope you could help me.
Is it okay if I say:

" Me waiting for COVID to pass so I can go back to staying at home and doing nothing. " ?

Thank you and have a good day!

This sounds like a caption to a meme. Meme captions are often worded this way. The words are referencing a photo and it means "This is me waiting....."

But it is NOT correct to speak that way or to write "Me waiting..... in any sort of formal writing."
