Does the expression "a flash of green" mean something in English? Or in general, what does "a flash of..." mean ?

'a flash of …' describes something very sudden. It’s usually very short and bright.
There was a flash of lightning and then thunder.
The solution to the problem came to me in a flash of inspiration.

A flash of green’ can refer to the green light that can sometimes be seen for just a few seconds above the sun as it disappears at sunset. (This is due partly to the slight difference in how different wavelengths of light refract in the atmosphere.)

The phrase ‘A Flash of Green’ was also used as the title of a novel and a film about an eco-group challenging corruption in a small US town. Here, the word ‘green’ is used in the sense of ‘eco-friendly’.
