hello
we normally use "what a" to show how amazed we are about something. for example what a movie or what a tree.
but what about the times that what we are amazed & excited about, is not singular but it is plural?!
imagine youre sitting with an old friend after years of separation and you both are remembering & retelling numerous good old memories. hours have passed and its almost morning. you both are tired and want to sleep now. you want to express your happiness & satisfaction about that era and those memories to your bud. what should you say? "what a memories man"? "what a days bro"?
how a plural noun such as days or memories could come after "a"?!
p.s- i am new to this website. so please forgive me if i've asked the question in a wrong place. if its breaking the rules, delete it. but please inform me about the right place so i could ask it again.
thanks
what a + plural noun?!

No problem, you're in the right place.
If the noun is plural, just leave out 'a'.
- "What memories!" or "What wonderful memories!" "What beautiful trees!" etc

thanks man.
although "what memories" looks a little weird to me. is it common among English speakers?
i think i'd use it with an adjective, such as amazing or wonderful. alone, it doesnt look very cool i am sure its just my feeling though

Nothing unusual about "What memories!" to me as a native speaker
