Today we had a sports meeting. It was very exciting. It was the last sports meeting we had in our 3-year study in middle school, so we all tried our best to win. However, players from other classes also fought bravely. HJH and WRJ got two firsts in their competitions. And most of our players also did very well. Finally, our team got the second place.
As watchers, we learned a lot from the competition. Rules always comes first and practice makes perfect.
What an unforgettable sports meeting it was!
I think meeting is seldom used in sports, so would event, game or competition be better?
I wrote a composition for my students to mark the sports event. Any mistakes?
