Hello,
I am stucked with this sentence to rephrase:
”The waiter gave me some advice on what to order for my main course.”
and here I have to fill in as to rephrase using the word ”Recommend” which has to remain unchanged
”My main course.....by my waiter”
I know it has to be something really obvious but as I have already said I am stucked to ” was recommended” and I can” get over it.

Re: Rephrasing
If you have to fill the blank in
”My main course.....by my waiter”
then it seems that "was recommended" is the only possibility.
”My main course.....by my waiter”
then it seems that "was recommended" is the only possibility.
