In the sentence 'we diligently plan our activities', can 'meticulously' and 'eagerly' equally replace 'diligently'?

Thank you, Joe.
So 'carefully' would better work as a synonym for 'diligently' than 'meticulously', wouldn't it?
i.e. we carefully plan our activities=we diligently plan our activities
