Hello,
In the sentence, 'we emphasize the value of an activity by aligning it with another goal', can 'connecting' and 'matching' equally replace 'aligning'? Do 'connect' and 'match' have the same meanings here?
Thanks.
align, connect, match

Re: align, connect, match
Nor really. The best word to use is probably "connecting".
But as always one needs the entire context to say for sure.
