Five-year-old native speakers have well-developed language skills but they still have a lot to learn and they might not be easy for you to understand. Can you understand Addie as she plays a video game?

Yes, I understood her, and she is excited about playing a game. She is using gamer lingo, such as using the space bar on the keyboard, to execute a move.
