possessive case

Postby Hela » Mon Oct 18, 2004 5:14 pm

Dear teachers,

Would you please tell me why there is a possessive 's' after "CD" in the following sentence?

"Whose CD’s are these?"

Thanks a lot,

It's the normal way to affix an 's' - whether plural (as here) or possessive - to an acronymous noun.
