verb not in use as perfect tence

Post by mahbub »

Dear Alan

We know there are some verbs whice have no continuous form.
These are see, feel etc.

My question is are there any verbs whice have no perfect form. That means they do not use thus way

have/has +vpp.

Thanks a loty

Apart, of course from modal verbs (which have PERFECTIVE FORMS, such as 'might have', but no perfect tense as such), none springs to mind.

Some verbs, however, would be somewhat unnatural in the present perfect, e.g. ?has resembled.
