Sir,

I like to read adveturous books.

I like to read adventure books.

Which one is correct ?

Please comment why adventorous can not be used in (1).

'Adventurous' means 'loving adventure': clearly books cannot be described in that way!

The normal expression, in any case, is adventutre stories.
