Dear teacher,

Here is my forth list of sentences:

16) I should like a house in the country.

17) We had X dinner at a new restaurant X last night.

18) Let’s get some strawberries for X tea.

19) Take an umbrella with you to the office. It may rain.

20) The car is ready now.

Thanks again.

Dear Alan,

Somebody told me that in sentence 18) we should use "the" before "tea" since we can say "our tea". Is that right?

18) Let’s get some strawberries for the (=our) tea.

instead of:

Let’s get some strawberries for X tea.

Thanks again.

PS: Would it be possible for you to answer my questions on article 1 & 2 today?

No, it's better without 'the', when referring to the meal. You might, however, get some milk for THE tea.
