Sir,

While listening commentary on T.V,The commentator asked the expert about the team performance "What went wrong?".

I could undestand the meaning but not the structer of the sentence.

"What went wrong?".

please clear it.

WHAT - subject
WENT- verb, (here) copulative
WRONG - adjective, complementing 'went'
