burninh/lighting

Sir,

I was asked to answer of following question.

1.Name the objects used for lighting fire.

I wrote "matchsticks','lighter".

2.Name the objects used for burning fire.

I wrote "wood" ,"grass","natural gas","kerosene" etc.

Are my answers correct?

I am here confused that what is difference in

"lighting fire" and "burning fire"

'Lighting' refers to the initial act of ignition, 'burning' to supplying the fuel for the fire.
