The moderators here are very good teachers.

"here" is adverb or some thing else?

'Here' is only ever an adverb, though it may on occasion serve nominally as a clause-subject.

The sentence is elliptical for 'the teachers WHO ARE here...', in which 'here' stands as adverbial complement to an implicit copula.
