Hear (Action VS state)

Post by SARDORBEK »

Dear Alan!
In the following test-question which version is the most correct?

I miss her very much, almost every minute of the day I think of her,
or I think I ___ her.

A) am hearing
B) hear
C) have heard
D) will hear

I think, the most potential answers are either (A) or (B). In this example, what kind of meaning of the verb "hear" is expressed: state or action. Can both (A) and (B) be correct answers?
Thanks a lot...

Yes, 'hear' can indeed be dynamic as well as stative, making (A) the most natural choice in this particular case.
