Which of the following is/are correct?

1. The testing finished on 1 April.
2. The testing was finished on 1 April.

3. The testing completed on 1 April.
4. The testing was completed on 1 April.

In the right circumstances all four are possible, but 1, 2 and 4 are most likely.
